Monthly Support Meetings at Starbucks 

Each month our support group meets at a Starbucks in Maceys Grocery Store in Salt Lake City. We have Physicians, Social Workers, Physical Therapists and Athletes in attendance on specified dates. We discuss recreational, social, health and wellness activities available to all participants, and answer any questions you may have.   

​Tai Chi Classes:

Master Elaine Lu of Master Lu’s Health Center will be running Tai Chi classes for all our participants on specified dates.

Service Dog Presentations:
Learn how golden retrievers are trained to assist people with disabilities, mountain search and rescue, public safety issues including recovery of explosives and drugs.
 

Silver Lake and Big Cottonwood Canyon Nature Experiences:

Our support group will be meeting at Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon during the summer for an accessible walk around Silver Lake, and beverages and pastries following the walk.

Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort:  

During the summer months we will be meeting at Snowbird for Nature Walks on the Barrier Free Trail, Orienteering Classes and more.

Wheeler Farm and Salt Lake Aquarium:
On specified dates we will be visiting Wheeler Farm and the Salt Lake Aquarium.

Bowling Group Sessions: Starting this fall we will be having group bowling classes.
