BALANCE IN RECREATION Mission Statement: The Mission of Balance In Recreation, as a support group, is to provide social and recreational opportunities in a non-intrusive setting to individuals dealing with physical, neurological, developmental and social issues.
Balance In Recreation provides direction and support through socialization, recreation and nature.
Balance In Recreation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our focus is to provide a support group that meets a few times a month in a relaxed social setting such as a coffee shop, mountainous setting, yoga or Tai Chi studio where we can learn about the environment, health and recreation and different social and recreational opportunities available.
